Circumstances of Disappearance
Karen spoke with family members several times a week and was looking
forward to a visit from a sister living in Canada. Her family has not heard
from here since May 14, 1980.

Details of Disappearance
Theresa was a resident of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada in 1998. She was
last seen in her hometown sometime during March 1998. She traveled to
Anchorage, Alaska in the United States shortly thereafter. She was last seen in
Anchorage during the month of July 1998. Theresa has never been heard from
again. It is possible that she is living on the streets.

Arctic Valley. An autopsy revealed that she had been stabbed to death.

THERESA LYNN STIRLING
. On June 30, 1992, at approximately 11:50 a.m., Teresa Stirling's nude and
lifeless body was found by tourists that were visiting Earthquake Park on West
Northern Lights Blvd. Teresa's body was lying in a ravine in a heavily wooded
area just off the main parking lot. When Teresa was found, the only clothing
she had on were white, mud-soaked socks. Teresa's body had numerous bruises
that were indicative to a blunt type instrument being used to kill her. Teresa
had last been seen alive about 8:00 p.m. in the Spenard area on June 29, 1992.

, Found Murdered outside of 341 N. Lane in the early morning hours of January
11, 2000. She died from massive internal injuries. Anchorage Police are asking

, aged 13. Shawna, known by her friends as "Twinkie," was an Alaskan Native,
5'2", 13 years old, 110 pounds, short black hair and brown eyes
Shawna's bruised and battered body was found behind a building at 529 C Street.
Her body was lying in an entryway on the north side of the building and was
partially covered by a wooden pallet. At the time of her death, the building
was an establishment called the "Monkey Wharf"; today the area is a vacant lot.
Shawna died as a result of blunt trauma to her head.

, aged 59, found near the Northway Mall, Aug. 6, 2000, murdered. Tina was
found in the wooded area at the corner of Bragaw Street and the Glenn Highway.
