Medicine Wheel Teachings
In order to understand the grief and healing process of losing a loved one to murder, or dealing with the loss of a loved one through unusual circumstances, I have decided to add some Traditional teachings to this site.
For the past nine years I have sat in Circles in our Fist Nations communities and witnessed the pain our people go through over injustices in our lives. Too often I have witnessed the self destruction of these good people as a result of being unable to reach out for support, or due to a lack of justice in our society.
For the past ten years I have worked as an AIDS Educator within our communities and I have shared similar teachings in my AIDS Awareness/Prevention workshops.I strongly recommend you follow these Teachings in order: East, South, West and North.
